K P Noushad Ali

K.P. Noushad Ali was born on 29 March 1978 in Manjeri, Malappuram, to a family of school teachers. Growing up across different parts of Kerala, he developed an early interest in reading, learning, and public affairs. Influenced by literature, history, and democratic thought, he came to view public life as a meaningful way to engage with society and contribute to the common good.

His journey in public life began through student activism, where he became actively involved in campus and youth movements. Over the years, he undertook various organisational responsibilities within the Indian National Congress, steadily building his experience through grassroots engagement, public communication, and community work. Alongside political activity, he cultivated interests in writing, public discourse, history, culture, and social development, while remaining connected to people across diverse backgrounds through his multilingual abilities.

Elected as the Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly from the Ponnani constituency, Noushad Ali continues to approach public service with a focus on public voice, participation, and practical action. His work spans legislative responsibilities, social initiatives, cultural engagement, and community development, reflecting a belief that public life must remain closely connected to the aspirations, dignity, and everyday concerns of the people it serves.
